Pankaj Nagar is Chief Operating Officer of Traxo Capital. Pankaj oversees how each transaction is run for the fund, from underwriting and deployment to monitoring the cargo and final repayment.
Career
Pankaj Nagar has more than 20 years of experience in institutional credit and trade finance, across banking, alternative investment funds and fintech. Pankaj has built and managed a commodity finance book of about US$2 billion, spanning trade finance, structured trade, asset-backed finance and lending products.
Pankaj has served as an Executive Director at Standard Chartered, and built an agricultural lending book at Edelweiss that recorded no credit losses. Pankaj’s career also includes ICICI Bank and Godrej Agrovet, the commodity finance business at Alpha Alternatives and a trade finance business built at CredAble.
Across these roles, Pankaj has built new businesses and gained experience in supply chain management and fund management.
